The material on the box is subtly engraved with a design of your choice. The effect is very subtle on Black. Crystal USB flash drives can also be engraved.

Boxes can be UV printed in Black, White or Full Colour. We recommend white print only on black boxes.

The nitty grittys!
The box is covered in a luxurious soft touch faux leather type material. The interior is covered with a plush velvet. The Black and Red boxes have a black velvet interior. All other boxes have an ivory velvet interior.

About the mats:
The mounts are all pre-assembled, open on 2 sides so you just need to slide your prints in. They are made from a truly professional Conservation board, which conforms to the Fine Art Trade Guild requirements for Conservation (level 2).
The core is made from alpha cellulose fibres, featuring a soft, natural, white colour that will remain white.
Each board is alkaline-sized, acid-free and calcium carbonate buffered for enhanced durability and longevity. Being conservation quality, boards are lignin-free with no optical brighteners. Cover papers are colourfast, resillient and bleed-resistant. This board is manufactured in the UK.
The back board we currently use for the slip-in mount is from the cream core range of mount board. The back board core is made from virgin wood pulp with a characterisitc pale ivory colour. Each board is alkaline-sized and pH neutral.
Typically, the back board has been described as an Economy board. If you cut a hole in the backing board, then the bevelled edge of the back board will discolour.
The box can be purchased with or without mats. It holds up to size 14 x 11 prints without mats.
Mat Sizes:
Mats are available in 3 print sizes: 10 x 7, 10 x 8 or 12 x 10. The overall size of the mat is 14 x 11.
When purchased with mats, 30 slip-in bevel cut mats are included.
You can also purchase the box with 25 mats + a false base.

About the chip:
We only use the best grade of UDP memory available. It's the most reliable and much more robust than cheaper alternatives. It's even waterproof!
